Jonathan Mawer arb RIBA
Associate
Jonathan qualified from Cambridge University in 2011 and is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
He is an experienced architect and joined Cannon Clarke Architects as an Associate in 2022, having previously worked at award winning practices in London, Cambridge and Norwich.
Jonathan’s main fields of work include developer led housing schemes, one off self-build projects, mixed used commercial schemes, and conservation of listed buildings. He has a strong experience in residential design, working with private and commercial clients, public sector bodies and community groups. Jonathan has a particular interest in client focused solutions, technical deliverability and low energy, sustainable design.
Alongside traditional practice, Jonathan has been a Lecturer in Architecture at the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. He has been a guest critic at Cambridge University, London Metropolitan University and is an ongoing visiting lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts. Jonathan is a committee member of RIBA Norfolk and a co-founder of the Norfolk and Norwich Design and Craftsmanship Awards for local architecture.
