Cannon Clarke Architects have been engaged to provide design services for a Reserved Matters Application on a previously obtained Outline consent on behalf of the developer, Badger Building Ltd.
The scheme for 6 residential apartments over 2 floors was submitted for planning and obtained consent.
The external form and material palette response to nearby housing development generally in Cringleford.
Full height windows are proposed to living areas and changes in elevational treatment of brick and render articulate and reduce the apparent size of the building to a more domestic scale. Feature brick panels are proposed between vertically paired windows to bedrooms and kitchens.
The scheme layout on site forms a ‘mews’ typology with the entrance bisecting the two halves of the building.
