Lynmouth Holiday Retreat located in the Exmoor National Park, North Devon, is a family run holiday park that focuses on family friendly holidays.
Cannon Clarke Architects were instructed to redesign an area of the park to provide a small bespoke lodge development.
The varying site topography were taken into consideration and modelled in 3D. Once the levels were understood, CCA were able to provided sketch ideas focussing on how the best views and could be utilised, the consideration of the sun-path and how to create an open feel to the development whilst maximising the use of the site.
The early concepts were further developed to provide rendered images to help demonstrate the proposals to stakeholders.
The result is a well-planned, efficient layout, allowing key views overlooking the beautiful valleys from the raised decking areas of the lodges.
