Planning Application – Rehabilitation Centre

We have recently submitted a planning application for a change of use from an existing 12 two-bedroom apartment residential unit to a rehabilitation and wellbeing centre, supporting individuals recovering from addictions and domestic abuse, providing overnight catered accommodation and daytime therapy, offering a secure ‘safe space’ environment tailored to recovery.

The redesigned layout will accommodate 28 ensuite bedrooms, communal lounges, dining areas, treatment rooms, and administrative spaces.

A new proposed Wellbeing Centre building to complement the recovery hub has also been submitted for Pre-app discussions, providing further therapy rooms, consultation spaces, gym, and sauna.

The design prioritises accessibility and security, making use of the existing building’s infrastructure where possible and balancing the need for privacy with the surrounding context.
