Architect Apprenticeships in Norwich Norfolk
Cannon Clarke Architects have an exciting opportunity to employ an Architectural degree-level Apprentice in September 2023.
Cannon Clarke Architects have been established since 2015 and have grown year on year to become a well-established regional firm. As a studio, we deal with a range of projects from bespoke residential architecture to national hotel and leisure projects.
Cannon Clarke Architects have run the apprenticeship programme since 2019 and with great success. With the traditional route of attending university full-time costing approximately £39,000 and a skills shortage in our industry, we wanted to create a platform where graduates can be industry ready without the burden of university fees. Our vision is to harvest our own talent by going above and beyond the University’s curriculum and ensuring our employees are trained to the highest standards in-house.
What our current apprentice says:
“The team at Cannon Clarke Architects are all incredibly understanding, encouraging and attentive, which has really helped my confidence in myself and my skills as I continue to develop. I enjoy having my skills regularly pushed by various tasks as this drives me to learn new things and adapt to certain situations. Importantly, I get respect from the entire team, which I believe is something not enough young people have within employment.”
Robert Atkins
Offering this new Apprenticeship in partnership with LSBU means those who do not wish to go to university full-time or do not have the means to traditionally attend university have the barriers removed.
We are currently looking for an Apprentice to join our team this year. No previous architectural experience is required, however, an interest in design and problem-solving are required. We are looking for someone with creativity, committed, and hard-working. We encourage applications from all backgrounds.
