About
East of England Sustainable Building Network
Welcome to the East of England Sustainable Building Network (EESBN) – a network dedicated to encouraging collaboration, innovation, and championing sustainability in the regions built environment.
EESBN brings together architects, planners, developers, local authorities, community groups, and industry experts to tackle the challenges of climate change and decarbonisation. Recognising the construction sector’s pivotal role in achieving the UK’s NetZero carbon emissions target for 2050, we aim to inspire practical, forward-thinking solutions that enhance the quality of life across the East of England.
Why Join Us?
The East of England has a unique opportunity to lead in sustainable construction. While London may dominate with investment and scale, our region’s strengths lie in its ability to innovate and collaborate on a human scale. By joining EESBN, you’ll:
- Strengthen relationships across the construction and sustainability sectors.
- Explore green strategies that elevate planning and client ambitions beyond minimum compliance.
- Access a forum to share best practices and learn about emerging technologies.
- Collaborate on solutions that address challenges like funding, regulations, and technical barriers to decarbonisation.
What to Expect at Our Events
Our regular bi-monthly events, hosted by Cannon Clarke Architects, offer:
- Inspiring keynotes and talks from industry leaders and sustainability advocates.
- Panel and open discussions to tackle real-world challenges.
- Networking opportunities over coffee and breakfast, providing a welcoming space to build meaningful connections.
- Practical insights on integrating sustainability into every phase of the project lifecycle, from retrofitting to new builds.
